ASSUNTA! OUR HERITAGE OUR PRIDE CONCERT
In conjunction with SMK Assunta's Golden Jubilee Celebration, the school's Co-curriculum Unit came forward in full strength to organise a grand Golden Jubilee Concert to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary. The concert included performances from the school's Military Band, the Malay Language Association and the English Literary and Debating Society. The school's Parent-Teacher Association also gave their full support in organising this event.
Through the Golden Jubilee Concert, the school hope to achieve its co-circular aim in developing their students' creativity as well as increasing their interest in the performing arts. They shall therefore be able to elevate their potential and talent in the performing arts to a higher level.
The students who have worked hand-in-hand to produce enjoyable and remarkable performances truly reflect SMK Assunta as a talented and creative academic institution.
The Golden Jubilee Concert is a unique event in which integration among the various ethnic groups and the family bond between Assuntarians and parents, ex-Assuntarians as well as the society can be appreciated and strengthened.
It was electrifying! Awesome! The passion, the energy... made us (old gals) so very proud to be ASSUNTARIANS! Indeed, our heritage our pride continues...
