THE Assunta Alumni Association is organising the Assunta Carnival on July 7 at SMK Assunta, Petaling Jaya, from 8.30am to 2.30pm.
There will be a jumble sale, home-cooked food, telematches, lots of games, raffle draws and performances by cheerleaders.
There will also be a photo-autograph session with Sister Enda Ryan, who retired in 1989 after 30 years as Assunta’s headmistress.
IN conjunction with Rayma Management Consultants, the Assunta Alumni Association is also organising a seminar on July 7 at the school library from 2pm to 4pm on ‘How To Earn Other People’s S.T.A.R (Support, Trust, Admiration and Respect).
Seminar presenter G.K. Lim will explain why a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EI) helps a person to become a natural leader. Lim will present ideas and strategies on raising EI level.
Proceeds from the seminar will be donated to the SMK Assunta Building Fund.
The fee is RM70 for alumni members, RM50 for SMK Assunta PTA members, RM20 for students and RM90 for the public.
