Overview
The Alumni Society of Assunta Secondary School (Assunta Alumni) is a registered society in Malaysia under the Societies Act 1966. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds regarding membership fees, event registrations, purchase of merchandise and donations made to our society via online or offline transactions.
Membership Fees
Non-Refundable: All new membership applications, annual renewals, and registration fees are strictly non-refundable once processed and approved.
Exceptions: A refund may only be considered if a duplicate payment was made due to a technical error on our payment gateway. Proof of transaction must be provided.
Event Registrations
Cancellations by Participant: Non-refundable once processed.
Cancellations or Postponements by Assunta Alumni: If we cancel or postpone an event, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled date.
Merchandise Purchases
Non-refundable unless the item is faulty. The Item must be returned within seven (seven) days of the purchase.
Donations and Contributions
Donations made to Assunta Alumni are generally non-refundable unless a proven clerical error, duplicate transaction, or unauthorised charge occurred. Refund requests for donations must be submitted within seven (7) days from the transaction date and before the funds are officially disbursed or allocated to a project.
Refund Request Procedure
To request an eligible refund, please follow these steps:
- Submit a written request via email to moc.liamg@cesinmulaatnussa within seven (7) days of the transaction.
- Include the following details in your email:
- Full name of the payer
- Contact number and email address
- Transaction date, receipt/proof of payment, and order/reference number
- Reason for the refund request
- Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to the original payment method within ten (10) working/business days.
